Aesus Premier Labelers

Aesus Premier Labelers

The Aesus Premier labellers are our top-of-the-line labelling systems. Typically they are "made-to-measure" utilising our wide range of accessories.

However as standard they have large cabinets that a stainless steel clad with lots of room for a electrical panels to house systems such as coders-hot stamp or laser-barcode readers, vision systems, UV detection systems, label presence sensors along with tracking systems and reject beans with reject tracking and reconciliation.

Control panels are usually Allen Bradley with large screens, and often multiple screens are put together into one overhead control panel. These might incorporate the vision system, the Aesus HMI, and perhaps a laser coder HMI. We have many configurations available it's a matter of customer preference.

Typically these machines are fully guarded however they do not always have to be depending on local requirements.

Since these are custom put together for customer requirements along with IQ OQ documents according to customer needs, we do not show "standard"machines rather we are giving some examples of some of the projects that we have handled.

Premier Panel

Front, back, 3panel and 4 panel and 5 panel labeling with speeds over 200 per minute the Premier-Panel 1 and 2 (Front and back heads) include the powerful Servo H400 PREMIUM head(s) and an large stainless base Cabinet, with stainless clad top plate.

Overhead touch screen PLC control Allen Bradley (or Equivalent) PLC is standard. Recipe management, 10’ long Raised bed Sanitary Stainless Steel conveyor, 48” Servo Top hold down, complete with product separation wheel.

Core adjustments for our exclusive interchangeable Worm or Belt aligners are all built in to the machine.

Premier Star Wrap

With speeds up to 400 per minute products are loaded from the conveyor into a starwheel with twin rollers at each starwheel pocket.

The starwheel rotates to the labeling station located adjacent to a motorized wrap belt. The product is therefore securely held at 3 separate stabilizing points. With the container so stable, a label is perfectly applied. The wrap around belt finishes the job by turning the product with its label still securely held.

As the rotation speed of the product is higher than the transportation speed of the product, the application of the label can reach very high production rates.  Once the label is applied, the container is released by the star wheel system back onto the conveyor.

All linear adjustments are done with graduation systems (rulers or dial indicators).
The unit is shown with a coder bracket and two Camera brackets complete with cameras, Vision system,Coder, Uv label prescence detection and reject bin with reject confirmation.

PREMIER Tamp & Wrap Around Labeler

Used primarily in the Medical Device and Cosmetic industries, our PREMIER labelers can apply 1 or more highly precise applied tamp or wrap around labels.

Accuracy is paramount to the end user and our means of handling the products are unique as is the application of the labels.  Allowing for not only precise label applications, but coding of the product using multiple methods.  Ie, Laser, Thermal transfer, HP technology printing.

Small footprint designs also allow for the integration of 3rd party vision systems that can detect and remove rejected products.  Options are also available to reject bad labels before they applied to good product allowing for the reconciliation of labels.

All linear adjustments are done with graduation systems (rulers or dial indicators).

Each application is unique and our PREMIER designs offer a solution that is right for you.

Dual bottom labellers

In this instance cosmetic jars are fed into fully adjustable side grip belts utilizing either an infeed conveyor and/or interchangeably feedscrews. A bottom label is applied. The second head is a redundant head so that the label roll can be changed while the second head takes over so that production is not interrupted.

This machine is fully guarded, and dependent upon local regulations and/or customer preferences interlocked guarding can always be provided.

Tamper evident labeling on cartons

Cartons are fed and singulated in one of two stations so that they can be oriented correctly and sealed with a label that has been bar-coded and serialized.

A vision system checks everything is correct with reject stations and reject tracking downstream.

Premium label heads

Twin premium H400 label heads apply labels on to a web at extremely high speeds.

The label heads have oversized powered in feed and take-up reels with low label sensors. The loose loop system feeds labels to the powerful H400 head with a minimum of web tension to enable labelling such high speeds.

The exclusive twist on twist off label core holders can clearly be seen which significantly speed up label reel change over.

PREMIER Vial Labeler

With speeds up to 150 vpm, products can be loaded automatically or semi-automatically into the infeed chute.

The starwheel is fitted with individual pockets to hold each product using 3 points of contact.  This assures minimum movement of the product is therefore securely held at the 3 separate stabilizing points guaranteeing virtually no label skewing.  Critical for high precision labeling of vials and syringes.  With the vials this stable, a label is perfectly applied. The wrap around belt finishes the job by turning the product with its label still securely held.

As the rotation speed of the product is higher than the transportation speed of the product, the application of the label can reach very high production rates.  Once the label is applied, the container is released by the star wheel system back onto the gravity fed downward chute.

All linear adjustments are done with graduation systems (rulers or dial indicators).
Options available include, laser or thermal transfer coding, vision cameras, UV label presence and rejection bins with reject confirmation

Aesus Premium label print and rewind system

Booklet and standard Labels are fed through either a laser coder or thermal transfer coder which apply barcodes, or 3-D codes, along with batch number date et cetera.

A vision system checks the correctness of the data and the quality of the code, and a reject system will reject any incorrectly coded labels individually. If a user defined number of successive labels are rejected the machine will shut down.

Once the labels have been coded and counted and reconciled with any rejects, the machine can be set to rewind onto the original core.

Integrated control panels for the Aesus and the vision system along with the two coder panels are clearly seen.

Servo indexed roller conveyor Labeler

A servo indexed roller conveyor system enables vials to be placed and then labeled at high speeds.

The unit has a hot stamp coder for coding the labels, and a vision system for checking.

An inbuilt splicing table with twin label feed rolls facilitates the change over of the label rolls.

The vision system control and the Aesus control are housed in the same swivel control cabinet for easy access.

Any reject remove from the conveyor and deposited into the reject bin with reject confirmation. The reject bin can be accessed without need to open the guarding.

Compact Premier top labeler

This extremely compact labeler is designed to apply tamper evident labels to cosmetic cartons.

A laser coder codes the label, a vision system checks that the code is correct, the label is applied to the carton to provide tamper evidence, and a UV label presence detector checks that the label has been applied appropriately.

The combination of the vision system and the UV label presence detector dictates whether a carton will be rejected or passed with reject confirmation. A compact carton reject drawer a labels any rejects to be removed without the need to open the guarding

Premier top and bottom labeler

Cosmetic jars are fed to an orienting station where they are rotated until their scalloped lid is in the correct orientation utilizing the Aesus prism system. Side grip belts then hold the container while a top and a bottom label is applied.

UV label presence detectors ensure that both the top and the bottom label have been applied correctly, and if a fault is detected any faulty jars are rejected with reject confirmation. The reject shelf enables any rejected jars to be removed without the need to open the guarding.

Premier Cosmetic Lip Gloss Labeler

Twin label heads each with laser coders and each with vision cameras apply very precise round labels onto the bottom of thin tall cosmetic containers.

Any rejects are tracked and rejected to shelves with reject confirmation.

The cosmetic containers have previously been rotated upside down in the upstream machine to enable access to the bottom of the containers.

The system is guarded, and control panels are mounted for easy access, with recipe management and Siko style counters for easier repeat set-ups.

The purpose of twin heads is to double the output speed.

Label splicing

A label splicing station is attached to a high-speed labeler.

Twin label feed rolls and twin splicing zones enable new labels to be spliced to the tail end of the old roll labels while the take-up rollers feed labels forward to the labeller during the splicing operation.
